Prior to that Markku spent over 15 years in international life science industry holding several executive /senior management positions like Territory Manager at Becton Dickinson Oy and head of business development at Tamro MedLab.

Aki Prihti’s experience covers all aspects of private equity work. For the last ten years Aki has worked with life science venture investments in Europe, and before that in Salomon Smith Barney’s corporate finance arm in London. Aki graduated from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration with honors.

Wolfgang Pieken held several executive management positions in biotech companies in Europe and in US before joining Inveni Capital. His last position was CEO of MWG Biotech AG. Wolfgang was also engaged as managing partner of Ventac Partners Munich, a life science corporate finance and consulting business.
Prof. Dr. Markku Jalkanen Partner, Advisor
Markku Jalkanen is one of the pioneers in Finnish biotech and was founder and CEO of the only public biotech company (Biotie Therapies Corp.) in Finland. He has also held several interim CEO, board and advisor positions in Finnish life science companies and related public organizations. Markku has a strong international science background with more than 130 peer reviewed publications. Today Markku is CEO of Faron Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Dr. Christina Wagner Partner, Advisor
Christina Wagner is a finance and strategy expert for the life science industry. Since 2004, Christina has been partner of Ventac Partners in Munich. Before that Christina had different senior management positions at MWG Biotech and was consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Christina received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Fraunhofer Institute Oberhausen.
